- Design, implement, deploy, and support components of the IBOR (Investor Book of Record) platform.
- Build scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring, and SpringBoot.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Partner with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and QA to provide estimates, ensure delivery, and manage risk.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture and engineering standards.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) throughout the software development lifecycle for:
- Code generation, refactoring, and optimization
- Test development and automation
- Debugging and production issue resolution
- Documentation and knowledge capture
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity through AI-assisted workflows.
- Demonstrate 6 10+ years of experience in Java-based systems development, with a solid understanding of concurrency, multi-threading, and high-performance systems.
- Develop REST APIs using Spring and SpringBoot frameworks.
- (Preferred) Experience with WebSockets and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Use GenAI tools effectively for coding, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Exhibit a growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies.
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
