Senior Software Engineer, Front End (React)

• Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Perform software development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern
• Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends and best practices in UI/UX design and development, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into user-friendly UI designs
• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (React), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and Java, open source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development
• Work closely with the design team to create pixel-perfect UI designs that align with the overall brand and design guidelines
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the UI across various browsers and devices
• Implement and customize Backstage plugins to enhance the developer experience and streamline workflows

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
• 1+ years of UI/UX design principles and tools
• 1+ years of experience with Backstage
