Senior software engineer

Location: Irving, TX

Salary Range: $68-75/hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software engineering and has a strong background in AI and Java development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java Development and Java Frameworks
• Experience with design and development using Java Libraries
• Ability to consume and orchestrate RESTful Services for data and model interactions
• Must have experience to AI Technologies
• Ability to integrate AI/ML features into core systems using Java-compatible libraries and microservices
• Prior work experience at Ex-Wells or in a similar industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with optimizing and enhancing existing AI models and code
• Knowledge of internal vector databases and optimizing search results
• Exposure to OpenText (preferred, not mandatory)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, DevOps, and product teams to deliver enterprise applications
• Integrate and operationalize LLMs via REST APIs or on-prem deployments
• Optimize prompts to get the best output from AI models
