Akkodis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud & AI Platforms) for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with proven ability to design and build scalable APIs, AI-powered solutions, and reusable platform capabilities that support business, engineering, and operational workflows.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Software Engineer (Cloud & AI Platforms) Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and support cloud-native applications, scalable APIs, and backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build and enhance AI-enabled solutions that improve engineering, business, and operational workflows across Product Development.
Develop enterprise integrations connecting applications with business systems, knowledge repositories, workflow platforms, and AI services.
Create reusable platform capabilities for retrieval, orchestration, prompt management, evaluation, telemetry, and feedback workflows.
Implement and support modern AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and intelligent automation solutions.
Drive DevOps and platform engineering best practices by building CI/CD pipelines, improving application reliability, and contributing to AI engineering standards and frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, BigQuery, containerization, data analysis, solution architecture, and cloud-native application development.
Hands-on experience with AI technologies, enterprise integrations, scalable API development, and modern AI architectures such as RAG, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
