Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager will own the end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, ensuring implementation is on-time, within budget, and of high quality. This role requires strong leadership in Agile methodologies, effective team management, and the ability to align stakeholders across technical and business domains.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, change requests, and delivery metrics while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Track project financials, resource allocation, and capacity planning across multiple workflows.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and vendor partners, managing SLAs and deliverable approvals.
- Drive Agile/Scrum processes, leading daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Lead cross-functional engineering, QA, and product teams, removing technical blockers and fostering high performance.
- Act as the primary bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to manage expectations.
- Proactively identify project risks, mitigate dependencies, and resolve critical bottlenecks to keep delivery on track.
- Refine internal delivery frameworks, engineering best practices, and CI/CD operations to boost efficiency.
Mandatory Skills
- Agile & Delivery Methodologies: Advanced proficiency in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Sprint Planning, Release Management, and Backlog Prioritization.
- Project & Risk Management: Advanced skills in Scope Control, Dependency Mapping, Risk Mitigation, and SLA Tracking.
- Technical & Domain Literacy: Advanced understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Architecture Basics, CI/CD Concepts, and Cloud & API Overview.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile certifications such as PMP or CSM.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and API integrations.
Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in project management with a focus on software delivery.
