Senior Software Engineer

Job TitleJob Description Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a Related Field Required Skills and Experiences: Seven (7) years of experience Application development, modification, and maintenance experience Experience installing and configuring systems and software Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging Ability to conduct system analysis to detect performance issues Ability to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Thorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and their integration Overview / Summary: Oversee application development, modification, and maintenance within the Technology department Monitor system applications, ensure systems run smoothly, and create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions Position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay Responsibilities: Oversee development and installation of new hardware and software Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations Test installed software for malfunction detection Identify and resolve business systems issues Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems Measure effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems Develop and implement strategies to improve systems Monitor and test system performance Oversee training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency Maintain full ownership of a process and may act as a procedural expert Collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve a common objective Manage multiple projects simultaneously**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
