MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our team working in Crane, IN. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript for Angular web application logic, and JavaScript for developing/maintaining RESTful APIs.

  • Implementing unit tests using frameworks like Vitest and conducting code reviews to ensure application quality, performance, and troubleshooting simplicity.

  • Supporting front-end development by building responsive web interfaces and components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, PrimeNG, and TypeScript.

  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries and designing schemas for relational databases such as MySQL to support backend functionality.

  • Writing and maintaining comprehensive public-facing application documentation.

  • Containerizing applications using Docker and Docker Compose, and managing application images consistently across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Building applications in compliance with the Application Security and Development Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education

  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and or software development.

  • Must possess a CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent DoD 8570.01 / 8140 IAT Level III certification, or successfully obtain within 30 days of offer acceptance and prior to beginning employment

  • Experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI

  • Experience using or supporting the use of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of RMF, Continuous ATO, POA&Ms, STIGs, ACAS/Nessus, and eMASS

  • Experience integrating with security tooling APIs such as STIG Manager, Tenable.sc/Nessus, or similar

  • Experience deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes, including configuration, secrets, health checks, scaling, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with documentation tooling such as Sphinx/reStructuredText or Docusaurus

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship required and an active or current Secret clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret prior to starting.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.

  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $105,900.00-$177,300.00.
