EPG (Ehrhardt Partner Group) is a leading global provider of supply chain execution software, helping businesses optimize their logistics operations through innovative technology.
As a Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) in our Customer Projects department, you will be responsible for enhancing and troubleshooting our innovative products and services related to our successful Warehouse Management System EPG | LFS. This role combines expertise in C++ software development, application architecture, integration patterns, and logistics processes to implement warehousing solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers.
THE TASKS - You make a difference
- You develop sophisticated user interfaces and tools using C++ and contribute to the development of our framework that supports software development across EPG.
- You design software architectures and technical solutions and take an active role in their implementation.
- You develop and support applications for various system platforms such as Windows, Android, and iOS.
- You conduct discussions with customers on interfaces and solution designs, document appropriately, and prepare rough cost estimates, solution design options, risk assessments, and technical specifications.
- You support technical project management efforts for customer project implementations and manage the handover of software concept deliverables to other developers for execution.
- You apply your strong understanding of advanced and complex logistics processes to develop effective customer solutions.
- You work in an agile environment with modern tools like Git, Jenkins, Google Test, Squish, and Jira.
THE REQUIREMENTS - What makes you successful
- You have a bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- You have 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing C++ applications.
- You have a strong technical background in API development and integration, SQL and database management, RESTful web services, system integration, software testing and debugging, and Git/source control. Experience with QML, JSON, and JavaScript is a plus.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, pay close attention to detail, and are comfortable working in a collaborative development environment.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You are based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
