The Senior Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing global paid social campaigns, acting as the primary LinkedIn paid social expert and ensure accurate tracking, UTMs, conversion measurement, reporting, compliance, and campaign quality. Senior Social Media Specialist
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Social Media Specialist opportunity at a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Senior Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing global paid social campaigns, acting as the primary LinkedIn paid social expert and ensure accurate tracking, UTMs, conversion measurement, reporting, compliance, and campaign quality.

This is a 12+ month contract role paying between $64-$74/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model out of their office in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage global paid social campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, from planning a launch through optimization and reporting.
• Develop audience, targeting, creative, budget, and campaign strategies aligned with business goals.
• Act as the primary LinkedIn paid social expert, advising on Campaign Manager, lead generation, matched audiences, sponsored content, events, video, carousel, and messaging formats.
• Partner with external agencies and internal marketing teams to manage campaign execution, timelines, budgets, approvals, and performance.
• Build and evaluate testing strategies across audiences, creative, messaging, bidding, landing pages, and calls to action.
• Monitor campaign results, identify optimization opportunities, and turn performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure accurate tracking, UTMs, conversion measurement, reporting, compliance, and campaign quality.
• Support paid social best practices, governance, playbooks, and ongoing capability development.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in digital media, paid social, social media activation or performance marketing.
• Advanced hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and strong knowledge of LinkedIn advertising formats and targeting.
• Experience managing complex, multi-market campaigns and external media agency relationships.
• Strong understanding of paid social strategy, audience development, creative testing, lead generation, optimization, and measurement.
• Proficiency interpreting metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, CPL, conversion rate, lead quality, pacing, and ROI.
• Experience with tracking, UTMs, conversion tags, pixels, lead forms, and reporting dashboards.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, organizational, and quality-control skills.
• Experience in financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry preferred.
• Global campaign, B2B audience, CRM/marketing automation, and media reporting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Meta, X, YouTube, Reddit, programmatic social, Tableau, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, or Google Analytics is a plus.
• LinkedIn Marketing Solutions or digital marketing certification preferred.
