Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- This role will support Enterprise social efforts with an enhanced focus on Wake Forest University School of Medicine and our Innovation Quarter.
- This role is mostly remote, but candidates must be local to Winston-Salem market to routinely be on site to capture content and provide event and activation coverage.
- Travel to Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Charlotte campus for occasional Team Meetings
- Primary hours are first shift, but occasional night or weekend event coverage will be necessary.
Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30
You will develop, execute and contribute to Advocate Health’s social media strategy to facilitate access, awareness and engagement on Advocate Health’s social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies, lead campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to optimize future efforts, as well as creating, designing and writing content for brand’s social media audiences as well as additional tasks, including but not limited to executing paid strategies, editing content, monitoring and responding on social channels, proofreading, creating videos and social media graphics.
Major Responsibilities:
- Contributes to development of the overall social media strategy through posting regularly on Advocate Health’s platforms With primary focus on Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Innovation Quarter (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to inform internal and external stakeholders what the Advocate Health brand offers, to increase engagement, maintain reputation and promote system and generate buzz around marketing campaigns.
- Crafts strategies, creates daily posts and implements paid ad strategies for platforms with branded and professional images that increase brand awareness, build reputation and foster engagement amongst our communities.
- Travels to locations to photograph and film evergreen and on-trend content for social media.
- Consistentlymonitorpages to ensure comments withincommunityareappropriate, and promptlyaddressescommunity comments, reviews,questionsand/or concerns.
- Staysahead of social media content industry news and best practices. Provides input into strategic direction forbrand’ssocial media channels. Participates in creative brainstorming sessions to develop new, more effective ways ofengagingsocial space.
- Assistsasliaisonbetween operations and system teams to support content through social media promotion (internally and externally).Assists community management coverage.
- Executes onday-to-day reputation management strategies andmonitorsall social channels to ensure ourconsumersare being responded toin a timely manner.
- Provides support and coverage at community and partner events and serves asa livein-person social media support for system-wide and site events, sports partnership events, community initiatives, etc. Collaborates with students. patients, families,associatesand clinical professionals to develop interesting and compelling stories through our partnerships and events that enhance the brand.
- Maintains running monthly editorial calendars including pre-approved posts supporting brand and organizational goals.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, advertising or other business-related field, or bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires5years of experience in day-to-day management of social media platforms.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability tooperateindependently in a self-directed, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of clinicians, management, executives, etc.
- Advancedexpertisein social media management and analytics tools, Microsoft Officeproductsand familiarity with WordPress.

- A flair for creating persuasive content and communicating effectively (and differently) depending on the medium.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Position requires some work on weekends and outside of normal business hours.
- Position requires some local, regional,nationaland market travel.

- Position requires travel therefore may be exposed to weather and road hazards.
