Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Build scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and dbt.
• Team Leadership: Direct onsite and offshore engineering teams, review code, and mentor junior developers.
• Performance & Cost Tuning: Optimize SQL queries, manage virtual warehouse sizing, and monitor cloud usage costs.
• Data Governance: Implement role-based access control, masking policies, and security best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into technical data solutions with clients and product owners.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 12years in data engineering or database development, with 10+years focused specifically on Snowflake.
• Technical Stack: Advanced SQL, Python, dbt (Core/Cloud), and Git/CI-CD workflows.
• Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Lambda), Azure (ADF), or GCP.
• Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and Data Vault.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, requirement-gathering, and leadership skills.
