We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior SLS Orion Trajectory Analyst to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL. Job Functions:Analysis of launch vehicle and spacecraft, dynamics, equations of motion, and trajectories to assess performance of spacecraft trajectories, mission analysis, and related studiesModeling ascent and in-space environments, errors, disturbances, GN&C algorithms, sensors, actuators, and mechanismsSimulate and analyze nominal, contingency, and failure scenarios during ascent and in-space flightDevelop algorithms and tools to analyze 3 DOF trajectories using Monte Carlo techniquesPerform studies and insight analysis for NASA's HLS programExecute/modify existing software/scripts in C, Python, C++Qualifications A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field from an ABET accredited institution is required. Typical experience requirements are the equivalent of a PhD with at least 4 years of experience, a Masters with at least 8 years of experience, or BS with at least 10 years of experience.
