Senior Site Civil Engineer

While the company is headquartered in Bluffton, SC, the Senior Site Civil Engineer is a full time, remote position. The engineer is responsible for leading civil/site design projects, including 
site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater management for public and private sector clients. 
Day-to-day tasks include preparing design plans and calculations, reviewing and coordinating 
engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and permitting 
requirements. The Senior Site Civil Engineer will oversee project schedules and budgets, provide 
technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, and collaborate with project managers to 
deliver high-quality work products. The role also involves coordinating with clients, regulatory
agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, attending project meetings, and supporting proposal 
development and scope definition as needed.

Strong civil engineering foundation with a focus on site and transportation-related projects.
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design for site development, roadway design, utilities, and 
related infrastructure.
• Experience with Planning activities such as site feasibility, preliminary layouts, and 
coordination with agencies and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated expertise in Stormwater Management, including hydrologic/hydraulic 
analysis, design of stormwater facilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina or ability to obtain.
• Hands-on experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar) and 
standard civil engineering tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate, welldocumented work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with 
clients, team members, and public agencies.
• Experience with transportation or municipal infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
