Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support and lead ongoing ServiceNow continuous improvement projects for an enterprise. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to client needs and support the implementation of the ServiceNow roadmap. This role requires collaboration within a diverse workforce in a matrix environment, effectively communicating and synthesizing requirements from external stakeholders, while working with the team to enhance the existing ServiceNow foundation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Maintain and perform continual service improvements on implemented modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, HAM, CSM.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service and teamwork, collaborating effectively with clients and vendors.
- Convey key ideas and gather actionable feedback from cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and challenges, perform analyses, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.
- Lead development review processes and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
- Gather and document business and system requirements.
- Support in developing use cases and testing procedures, ensuring product functionality and debugging prior to production deployment.
- Coordinate and lead project team meetings with technical staff and other key stakeholders.
- Develop implementation plans, SOPs, and system architecture for project deployments.
- Assist in the architecture, design, management, and implementation of ServiceNow.
- Prepare IT project status reports and presentations by collecting and analyzing information and trends.
- Maintain project documentation repository.
- Utilize AI experience: Now Assist, third-party LLM APIs, Automatic Test Framework.
- Demonstrate experience working on large-scale projects with a focus on ServiceNow tools and techniques.
- Design, configure, and implement application environments, engineer release management procedures, and provide production support.
- Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests, and conduct reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices for platform performance.
- Experience using Flow Designer and integration experience.
- Collaborate with team on software design, provide accurate work estimates, and implement new features.
- Liaise with other development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Ensure adherence to all security policies and practices during development.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow Technical Best Practices in all development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform’s architecture and capabilities. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 6 years of experience with design, development, and support.
- At least 4 years of experience in leading software development projects.
- Hands-on ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules, particularly HAM, CMDB, CSM, and HRSD.
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
- Initiative-driven, presents ideas to overcome challenges, and is a self-starter.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Support development in an Agile framework, actively participating in daily scrums and ceremonies.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow custom-scoped application development.

- Ability to obtain public trust clearance prior to start date.
