    Job Title: Senior ServiceNow GRC Developer

    Job Summary
    We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow GRC/IRM Technical Lead with 7+ years of ServiceNow development and platform engineering experience, including 3+ years of deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) / Integrated Risk Management (IRM) ecosystem.

    This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for designing and implementing complex, multi-module ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong ServiceNow engineering expertise with a deep understanding of enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, security controls, and governance.

    Key Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
    • 3+ years of hands-on technical experience specifically with ServiceNow GRC/IRM.
    • Proven experience leading technical teams through complex, multi-module ServiceNow implementations.
    • Advanced proficiency in:
      • JavaScript and Glide scripting
      • Flow Designer
      • IntegrationHub
      • ServiceNow IRM/GRC data models and metadata structures
    • Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, and SOC 2.
    • Experience mapping regulatory and risk requirements to technical controls within ServiceNow.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical risk architectures to non-technical stakeholders, including Audit, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
    • Strong understanding of ServiceNow development best practices, upgrade-safe configurations, and platform scalability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Translate complex regulatory requirements and enterprise risk strategies into scalable, secure, and automated ServiceNow workflows.
    • Lead the technical design, configuration, development, and implementation of ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules, including:
      • Policy and Compliance
      • Risk Management
      • Audit Management
      • Vendor Risk Management (VRM)
      • Business Continuity Management (BCM)
    • Build and oversee automated indicators, control-testing workflows, and evidence-collection processes to minimize manual intervention and improve audit readiness.
    • Define and enforce coding and configuration best practices for IRM data models.
    • Ensure solutions are upgrade-safe and aligned with ServiceNow architecture and CSDM principles.
    • Design and implement secure integrations between ServiceNow GRC/IRM and external data sources, such as:
      • Azure AD
      • BitSight
      • Security Operations platforms
      • Financial systems
    • Enable real-time or near-real-time visibility into the organization's enterprise risk posture through integrated data and reporting.
    • Mentor and provide technical direction to ServiceNow developers working on GRC/IRM implementations.
    • Provide expertise in GRC-specific configurations, including Advanced Risk Assessments, Performance Analytics (PA), risk dashboards, and UI Builder.
    • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards that clearly communicate risk posture, compliance status, and control effectiveness.
    • Serve as a technical bridge between Technology, Information Security, Legal, and Internal Audit teams.
    • Translate regulatory requirements, policies, and business risk objectives into clear functional and technical requirements.
    • Identify, prioritize, and manage technical debt within the ServiceNow GRC/IRM environment.
    • Drive proactive performance tuning, platform optimization, and scalability to support continued international growth.
    • Ensure ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions maintain appropriate security, data integrity, performance, and maintainability standards.
