Akkodis is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions, integrations, and workflow automations while ensuring platform stability, security, and performance.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior ServiceNow Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, forms, catalog items, custom applications, and automation processes.
Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and custom tables to support business requirements.
Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other third-party platforms.
Analyze requirements, assess platform dependencies and impacts, and ensure solutions align with ServiceNow architecture, governance, security, and performance standards.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement sustainable fixes while supporting testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, stakeholders, and development teams to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions, perform code reviews, and drive continuous platform improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments, with expertise in solution design, integration, and platform customization.
Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification with strong experience in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and custom application development.
Proven experience developing and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and third-party platforms, along with strong knowledge of CMDB, ServiceNow architecture, troubleshooting, and platform governance.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
