Job Title: Senior ServiceNow CMDB Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and lead the overall ServiceNow architecture roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives.
Design scalable and sustainable solutions across ServiceNow modules, with a focus on Discovery, CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM.
Establish CMDB governance frameworks, data models, reconciliation strategies, identification rules, and data quality standards.
Drive enterprise-wide adoption of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ensure alignment with ServiceNow standards.
Architect and oversee implementation of ITOM capabilities, including:
Discovery
Service Mapping
Event Management
Cloud Discovery
Operational Visibility
Design enterprise integration architectures using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, administration, and implementation teams.
Review solution designs, code quality, and platform configurations to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
Lead architecture workshops with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and leadership.
Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
Define platform governance, development standards, and release management processes.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure Teams, and Service Owners to improve operational visibility and service health.
Support platform upgrades, transformation initiatives, and ServiceNow roadmap planning.
Required Skills
ServiceNow Architecture & Platform Expertise
Strong experience in ServiceNow solution and platform architecture.
Deep expertise in:
ServiceNow Discovery
CMDB Architecture & Governance
Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
ITOM Suite
Discovery
Service Mapping
Event Management
Operational Intelligence (preferred)
Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
Integration & Automation
Strong experience with:
REST APIs
SOAP Web Services
Integration Hub
MID Servers
Third-party monitoring and infrastructure integrations
Expertise in workflow and process automation.
