Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the integration of robust security measures into our CI/CD pipelines for the Client Bank of San Francisco - Common Data Platform. This vital role is at the heart of our DevSecOps transformation, aiming to modernize security practices across development teams while facilitating cloud migration and platform modernization. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, leveraging deep expertise in CI/CD automation, containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and security tooling integration to embed automated security controls into software delivery processes, thereby enhancing our system's integrity without sacrificing delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain security measures within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Create automation scripts and enforce container security policies.
Assist Security Champions with technical support and pipeline security training.
Develop secure pipeline reference architectures and implementations.
Support developers with security findings and mentor team members in secure development best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development and management.
Experienced in containerization and orchestration technologies.
Solid understanding and practice of AWS cloud services.
Industry Experience Required:
Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment is advantageous.
The role demands a self-starter with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder, able to obtain security clearance, and willing to travel to San Francisco for crucial meetings.
