Job Summary (SDET Airline Operations, Remote, NY/NJ/CT)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support, test, develop, or integrate mission-critical airline operations systems.
- Analyze and understand how operational systems impact downstream airline processes.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable testing assets.
- Establish automation standards and best practices.
- Participate in AI-driven QA initiatives and utilize emerging testing technologies.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js.
- Utilize tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Eggplant for test automation.
- Implement API automation frameworks, mocks, stubs, and service virtualization.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Git, etc.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure testing coverage and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in software testing, automation engineering, or software development.
- Proven experience building automation frameworks and testing solutions.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or comparable tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, API automation, service virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled testing, QA agents, and MCP servers (preferred).
- Airline industry experience required, particularly with airline operations systems.
