Job Title: Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Hybrid Glenview, IL
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SDET with a strong background in both functional and automation testing. This is a truly hybrid role where your expertise in manual QA will be as important as your proficiency in test automation. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure top-quality delivery across Web, API, and Mobile platforms in an Agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, debug, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing test automation suites.
  • Contribute to performance and load testing strategies.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and automation frameworks.
Technical Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in QA, with a blend of functional and automation testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, Maven.
  • Experience with Serenity BDD framework.
  • Solid understanding of API testing and automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
