Senior Scientist/S&T Advisor

Overview:

IAT is seeking a Senior Scientist/S&T Advisor to support the Office of the Director of the National Intelligence (ODNI). The Specialist will be responsible for the overall responsibility and oversight for the acquisition, procurement, S&T, and facilities/logistics activities performed across the IC.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop Strategies with achievable goals within prescribed resources to mission capabilities
• Research future technology developments to identify potential breakthrough technology capability and opportunities.
• Analyze existing IC S&T program data to define programmatic baselines and identify opportunities for synergy.
• Support and design studies, workshops, working groups, and projects that span through multiple organizations, agencies and technical disciplines.
• Engage with expert level science and engineering professionals on pertinent subjects of interest to the IC.
• Provide high level technical research, analysis, reporting, and presentations in response to internal and external task orders and requests, which include:
  • Congressionally Directed Actions (CDA's)
  • Executive Committee (EXCOM)
  • Deputies (DEXCOM)
  • Director of National Intelligence (DNI)
  • Principal Director of National Intelligence (PDDNI)

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in fields of science or engineering.
• 10+ years IC research and development (R&D) experience
• 5+ years program management planning, leading, and successfully completing scientific research projects.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ODNI roles and responsibilities
• Experience with one or more of the IC collaboration spaces (i-Space, R-Space, Q-Space, i4s, or SAGE).

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive or classified information. TS/SCI w/CI Poly required.
