In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing upstream process development and ensuring scalable, efficient, and reproducible production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of upstream bioprocesses, including cell culture, media optimization, and process scale-up activities.
  • Drive process improvements that enhance yield, consistency, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Partner with R&D, manufacturing, downstream processing, analytical, and quality teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and process integration.
  • Serve as a scientific and technical resource for cross-functional development projects.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Support laboratory, pilot-scale, and commercial-scale production activities while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance.
  • Assist in planning and managing laboratory resources, equipment, consumables, and operational budgets.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory expectations.
  • Present project updates, scientific findings, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies, intellectual property, and scientific advancements that support Leinco's continued growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience working in a research laboratory environment.
  • Strong scientific problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
