Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant

Introduction

This is a Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Consultant role focusing on hands-on S/4HANA FICO Configuration Lead. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in FI/CO configuration and has successfully completed multiple S/4 implementations end-to-end.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of configuration experience in S4 FI and CO modules: FI-GL, AP, AR, AA required.
• Experience working in a multi-company code, multi-currency environment.
• Ability to perform in-depth hands-on configuration of required SAP FICO modules.
• Experience in analyzing problems and troubleshooting to find the root cause.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and debug ABAP code (but not perform any technical development).
• Good knowledge of integration with other S4 modules – Purchasing, Sales, and Production.
• Development experience using various SAP development technologies including but not limited to ABAP, Integration, and UI tools.
• Experience working in a Product Driven Agile Organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile), and technologies.
• Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
• Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, architects, etc.
• Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies, and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations, and market best practices.
• Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
