About the Role
This position is responsible for leading Wave 2 of a complex enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA enhancement initiative involving core business applications, interconnected systems, and diverse business stakeholders. The successful candidate will navigate complex technical and business dependencies, manage high-profile subject matter vendors, maintain project governance, and ensure all deliverables align with strategic priorities and budget estimations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance: Lead project management activities across the full lifecycle (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing) following established PMO standards and methodologies.
Integrated Planning: Build and maintain detailed integrated project plans and schedules in MS Project/MS Project Online, establishing critical paths, task-level dependencies, and milestones.
Resource & Capacity Management: Forecast and manage resource allocation dynamically, ensuring optimal resource availability across workstreams.
Budget & Scope Governance: Define and refine project scope with business owners, estimate costs, and manage cost plans across all project phases.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Oversee high-profile third-party vendors and system integrators while establishing clear governance, decision-making processes, and escalation paths.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships across IT teams, executive leadership, business owners, and external integration partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Project Management Experience: 10+ years of enterprise IT project management experience covering scope, schedule, integration, risk, vendor, and communications management.
ERP / SAP Expertise: Direct experience managing enterprise-level SAP/ERP implementation and enhancement projects.
Vendor Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-profile vendors across both on-premise and cloud landscapes.
Tool Mastery: Expert-level mastery in creating and maintaining complex integrated plans using MS Project / MS Project Online.
Certification: Active Project Management Professional (PMP ) certification.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and executive-level written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Environment Exposure
Hands-on familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions and integrated enterprise systems, including:
SAP Suite: SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP SuccessFactors.
Integrations: ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Qlik Sense, OnBase, and AgileAssets.
