Rate Range: $55-$60/Hr



Job Description:
  • The Supply Chain Management Technology team within the Technology for Chief Operating Office group is seeking a candidate to work in the role of Senior Software Engineer for the Supply Chain Technology team. This position is primarily implementing, and supporting enhancements for SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, Buying, Invoicing, and Supplier Lifecycle Performance.
  • Key responsibilities will include configuration, deployment, change management, governance and production support of SAP Ariba on-demand and other SaaS applications in the Source to Pay portfolio. This position requires knowledge and understanding of Ariba best practices, multiple tools, technologies, and methodologies to support the core SAP Ariba solution and integrations to multiple systems.
Responsibilities include:
  • Deliver on ongoing product and technical improvements in SAP Ariba Suite.
  • Ensure completion of technical deliverables for Ariba Source to Settle as outlined by Product Owner/Application Owner.
  • Should be able to analyse and recommend technical architecture, technical design and development.
  • Conduct requirements analysis with Business Stakeholders.
  • Assume responsibility for planning and executing implementation/ Rollout/ Support activities.
  • Own and drive issue detection and resolution.
  • Independently address complex production issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex technology problems and drive root cause analyses.
  • Act as contact for business units for application support and production issue analysis.
  • Maintains understanding of end-to-end data flows for applications including business logic and controls.
  • Working with other applications in the Source to Pay portfolio including but not limited to RelishIQ, Vertex Tax engine, SOVOS eInvoicing etc.
  • Understand and enforce Client policies in place to protect information and system stability.
  • Work with other technology teams within the organization to deliver project outcomes
  • Track application and batch performance and develop plans for remediation of issues.
  • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met.
  • Strengthen the team s knowledge of AI functionality in Source to Pay functional area
  • Follow application management and governance practices and work on administrative/documentation requirements per WF policies and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of application development and/or implementation experience
  • 5+ years of application production support experience
  • 5+ years of Ariba On demand Implementation experience.
  • 5+ years of SAP Ariba Solutions (SLP, Sourcing, Contract Management, P2P, Guided Buying and Ariba Network) experience.
  • Ariba P2P master data and transactional data interface experience.
  • Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance experience and usage of Ariba open APIs.
  • Common Ariba practices like manual file upload/download, integration monitoring, Approval flow setup, Integration setup.
  • Integration of SAP Ariba Solutions with ERP including Master Data Integration, Transfer of documents, Cross system reporting.
  • Experience with code documentation, API documentation, maintaining playbooks and providing timely progress updates.
  • Should be able to conduct technical design reviews and code review
  • Experience with one or more of the following will be a plus:
Skills in Java, Javascript, XML, and JSON
  • Ariba APIs
  • Fiddler or Postman
  • Web services integration
  • cXML
  • Writing SQL queries
Desired Qualifications:
  • RESTful or SOAP web services experience.
  • SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Internet security protocol experience.
  • Autosys experience.
  • NDM experience.
  • Knowledge of compliance and third-party risk for suppliers.
  • Contract Compliance
  • PeopleSoft ERP/Experience working with non-SAP back-end ERP is a bonus.
  • Agile Scrum practices and working in Agile teams.
