This is a consultative, territory-focused sales role that owns the entire client relationship from prospecting through project award.Develop and maintain relationships with municipal leaders, utility managers, water operators, public works officials, and consulting engineers.Identify and pursue opportunities for elevated water tanks, water towers, storage tanks, and related infrastructure projects.Educate customers on the risks and costs associated with aging water storage assets and recommend tailored replacement or rehabilitation solutions.Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and project hand-off.Serve as a technical resource, communicating the operational, financial, and life-cycle benefits of water storage solutions.Collaborate with internal engineering, construction, and project teams while driving territory growth and achieving sales objectives.The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with experience selling technical infrastructure, water, wastewater, or industrial solutions into municipalities and government entities. They have a strong track record of developing relationships with engineers, utility leaders, and public works stakeholders while successfully managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities.5-10+ years of business development, technical sales, or account management experience within water, wastewater, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or industrial equipment markets.Demonstrated success selling into municipalities, water districts, utilities, public works departments, or other government agencies.Experience developing relationships with consulting engineers, utility operators, public works directors, engineering firms, and municipal decision-makers.Knowledge of water storage, water distribution, wastewater systems, tank coatings, pumps, treatment equipment, asset management, or related infrastructure solutions preferred.Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, navigate public procurement processes, and close high-value capital equipment or construction projects.Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and ROI for customers.Active involvement in industry organizations such as AWWA, APWA, WEF, Rural Water Associations, or similar groups is a plus.Willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas (approximately 50%).What's on OfferBase salary of $160,000-$200,000+, plus annual 20% bonusJoin a private equity-backed organization that has tripled in size over the last two years and continues to invest heavily in growth.High-impact, entrepreneurial role with the ability to build and own a territory while directly influencing company success.Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision
