Senior Sales Engineer - Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC Systems

We are recruiting a Senior Sales Engineer for a growing mechanical contractor serving the Cincinnati, Ohio market. This position is based in the Cincinnati area and supports the Southwest Ohio territory, so candidates must live within commuting distance or be open to relocating. Assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
This role focuses on developing and selling industrial refrigeration systems and refrigeration projects to manufacturing and industrial clients.
Candidates with a background in industrial refrigeration or industrial HVAC systems are encouraged to apply.
The position operates within a design-build mechanical contractor environment, working closely with engineering and operations teams to support project development and execution.

Responsibilities
• Develop new business with industrial and manufacturing facilities
• Build relationships with plant managers, engineering leaders, and operations teams
• Identify opportunities involving industrial refrigeration systems and related mechanical systems
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and project budgets
• Work with engineering and operations teams to support project execution
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
• Manage a pipeline of refrigeration project opportunities
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience working with industrial refrigeration systems OR industrial HVAC systems
• 5+ years of project sales experience selling mechanical, refrigeration, or HVAC systems
• Experience with a design-build mechanical contractor or industrial services provider
• Ability to prepare project estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Experience developing new business and managing existing customer relationships
• Ammonia refrigeration knowledge preferred but not required
• CO₂ refrigeration knowledge a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Important: This role requires experience selling refrigeration or HVAC mechanical systems. Candidates with only service technician or manufacturing engineering backgrounds without sales experience will not be a fit.

• $110,000 – $120,000 base salary
