Akkodis is seeking a Senior RF Optimization Engineer for a Contract with a client in Terrace, FL. The ideal candidate with experience optimizing 4G/5G radio access networks, improving network performance, and supporting large-scale wireless infrastructure initiatives across multi-vendor environments.
Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior RF Optimization Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Optimize and enhance 4G LTE and 5G network performance by improving key RAN KPIs, including throughput, accessibility, retainability, and overall user experience.
Analyze network performance data, drive test results, and trace files to identify and resolve coverage, capacity, interference, and quality issues.
Configure, tune, and support multi-vendor RAN environments, network infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex radio network issues while implementing corrective optimization strategies.
Leverage AI/ML-based tools and automation solutions to support predictive network optimization, performance monitoring, and fault management.
Collaborate with OSS, IT, and engineering teams to integrate network data, support automation initiatives, and drive continuous improvement of wireless network performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in RF Engineering, Wireless Network Optimization, LTE, 5G, and Radio Access Network (RAN) performance management.
Strong expertise in 4G LTE and 5G RF optimization, RAN KPI analysis, drive test analysis, troubleshooting coverage/capacity issues, and optimizing multi-vendor networks including Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung.
Proven experience leveraging AI/ML-driven optimization tools, OSS platforms, network automation solutions, and collaborating with IT and engineering teams to improve network performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
