Senior RF/Digital Systems Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior RF/Digital Systems Engineer to lead development of complex electronic and electrical systems for satellite and avionics applications. This role will support requirements development, system architecture, design integration, validation, supplier oversight, and lifecycle support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer requirements development and documentation for complex electronic systems.
• Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
• Oversee design and build activities for satellite and avionics units.
• Lead system testing and validation to ensure functional and operational requirements are met.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure integration, compliance, and delivery.
• Support fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend future investment opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field.
• 10 + Experience in RF and digital engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of RF/Microwave engineering experience.
• ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance
• Experience with digital circuit design.
• Knowledge of FPGAs and ASICs.
• Systems engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Prior aerospace, satellite, or avionics experience.

Ideal for a senior technical leader with RF/Digital engineering experience supporting advanced aerospace, satellite, or avionics systems.

Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
