Senior Revit Architect (Part-Time, Texas)

We’re looking for a Senior Revit Architect to collaborate remotely, supporting U.S.-based commercial projects with a focus on quality control and construction document review. What you’ll do:
Support a U.S.-based firm by reviewing construction document (CD) sets produced by the internal team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform detailed QA/QC checks on drawings, identifying and flagging issues related to building codes, ADA compliance, and overall documentation quality.
Provide clear, actionable markups and feedback using Bluebeam to streamline corrections and improvements.
Collaborate closely with the internal drafting team, returning reviewed sets and ensuring efficient project progression without compromising quality.
Act as a senior QA/QC reviewer, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and compliance across multiple commercial projects.
Serve as key support to leadership by helping remove bottlenecks in the review process and improving workflow efficiency.
Contribute to maintaining high standards across documentation, with potential to evolve into a broader oversight or coordination role.
What you must have:
15+ years of experience in architecture.
Strong background in commercial architecture projects in the U.S.
Deep understanding of: International Building Code (IBC), ADA requirements.
Extensive experience reviewing construction documents at different stages.
Familiarity with multiple construction types, including wood frame, concrete, and pre-engineered metal buildings.
Proficiency in Bluebeam.
Working knowledge of Revit.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, compliant documentation.
Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a part-time, remote environment.
A great plus:
Experience with additional construction systems such as steel framing.
Previous experience in senior QA/QC or leadership support roles.
Interest in growing into a coordination or oversight-focused position.
