This position is a hybrid role in Colorado
Summary:
Manages complex revenue cycle projects and their lifecycles for assigned functions including software implementations with a focus on optimizing workflows and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Defines project scope, timeline, and key outcome measures for successful project delivery for complex projects. Identifies and manages project resources and teams to design, build and activate clinical and administrative revenue cycle deliverables in line with project objectives.
Leads complex revenue cycle projects with a focus on optimizing workflows and improving operational efficiency. This includes analyzing current processes, identifying gaps or bottlenecks, and implementing best practices and technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance overall performance.
Monitors and controls communications, stakeholders, risks, timelines and costs. Utilizes PM tools to track and manage project progression. Audits to ensure project results add long-term value to the organization. Mentors and trains revenue cycle project managers and project coordinators on foundational and advanced project management techniques, skills and competencies.
Manages project implementation to achieve project goals while controlling resources, risks, conflicts, timelines and costs. Manages project team members. Supports steering committee and executive steering committee meetings to resolve operational and technical project challenges. Serves as a mentor and facilitates conflict resolution.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
