A Day in the Life at Brian & Sons

Your day starts with a company vehicle, an iPhone and a schedule of homes across Aurora, Oswego, Plainfield, Yorkville, Montgomery and the rest of the Fox Valley.

You might find the cause of a tricky furnace or heat pump problem, take care of a boiler, and finish with a tune-up for one of our Home Comfort Membership customers.

At every stop, you explain what's going on in plain language and give honest options, because we don't oversell.

When you make a call, it sticks, and you get paid for that skill.

It's a grind-it-out, do-it-right crew, but we don't burn good techs out, and you still get home for dinner.

What You'll Get:

• $40–$50/hr depending on experience (about $83,200–$104,000/yr)
• Commissions on services and sales
• Time and a half for overtime (evenings and weekends in busy season)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Diagnosing and repairing residential furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and boilers
• Seasonal maintenance and tune-ups for our Home Comfort Membership customers
• Explaining issues to homeowners in plain language and giving honest options
• Mentoring younger techs as we grow (if that's something you enjoy)

Who We're Looking For:

You're the tech other techs call when they're stuck.

You don't cut corners, you don't oversell, and you have the diagnostic skills to back up your rate.

You like being part of a crew that works hard and does it right, and you want to help protect that culture.

Beyond that:

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience (firm)
• EPA 608 Universal certification
• Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Comfortable being customer-facing every day
