We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate with a strong hands-on laboratory background who can independently design and execute experiments, analyze complex data, troubleshoot technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute experimental plans to support research and development objectives.
• Perform hands-on laboratory experiments, document observations, and analyze experimental data.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot laboratory methods, techniques, and workflows.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant laboratory records and documentation.
• Identify and implement improvements to laboratory processes, methods, and workflows.
• Participate in complex technical investigations, troubleshooting activities, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Prepare and present experimental procedures, results, and recommendations to project and technical teams.
• Train and mentor junior research and laboratory personnel in areas of technical expertise.
• Monitor work to ensure quality and promote consistent, high-quality laboratory practices.
• Contribute scientific expertise to technical discussions and initiatives related to diagnostic and healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Master's degree may be considered with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant post-college laboratory research experience.
• Hands-on experience with experimental design, laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and scientific troubleshooting.
• Experience developing, optimizing, or evaluating laboratory methods and techniques.
• Ability to independently execute complex experiments and exercise sound scientific judgment.
• Experience preparing technical reports, protocols, scientific summaries, and quantitative analyses.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Experience supporting assay development, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) is highly relevant.
• Experience with laboratory process improvement, method optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional technical or project teams.
• Experience presenting experimental procedures, results, and technical recommendations to project teams or stakeholders.
• Prior experience training, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to junior laboratory personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary research environment.
• Commitment to quality, accurate documentation, and reliable execution of laboratory activities.
