Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Recruiting Specialist – Stores serves as the strategic hiring partner for an assigned group of stores, helping leaders hire the right talent at the right time. This role owns the full recruiting lifecycle while providing labor market expertise, sourcing strategies, hiring consultation, and workforce insights that improve hiring quality and reduce reliance on external recruiting resources. The position partners closely with Area Managers, Store Managers, Human Resources, and Training to support business growth, new store openings, and long-term workforce success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

45% - Lead full-cycle recruiting for assigned stores, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer support, and hiring consultation. Partner with hiring leaders to develop effective hiring strategies that improve candidate quality and hiring outcomes. 

25% -Serve as the market expert for assigned territories by understanding local labor markets, talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and recruiting challenges. Use market intelligence to influence recruiting strategies, workforce planning, and hiring decisions. 

15% - Build and maintain talent attraction strategies through proactive sourcing, community partnerships, hiring events, referral initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, and new store staffing plans to strengthen local hiring success and reduce agency dependence. 

10% -Coach and influence hiring leaders on interviewing, candidate selection, market conditions, employment branding, and hiring best practices. Provide data and recommendations that improve hiring consistency and manager capability. 

5% - Analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, recommend process improvements, support implementation of recruiting technology, and participate in special projects that improve the overall Talent Acquisition function. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

Educational/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent skills and experience.   

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:Strong working knowledge of common office software such as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.  Understanding of best hiring practices

General Knowledge and Abilities:  Essential to the performance of this position is the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and candidates. This position also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, high levels of detail orientation, ability to follow complex processes, strong decision making skills and judgment to resolve complicated issues.  Also important is the ability to focus on key priorities and effectively juggle many different tasks at the same time.

Physical Requirements: Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk. Requires frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer, mouse, keyboard, and office related equipment and the ability to reach with hands and arms. Position requires lifting no more than 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.

Work Environment:Fast paced office environment, telephone and long periods of computer use.
