    POSITION OVERVIEW
    As a Senior Quality Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
    The client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure manufactured products consistently meet quality standards while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The role partners with production, engineering, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues, improve manufacturability, support new product launches, and maintain compliance with the company's Quality Management System.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve production and customer quality issues.
    • Support manufacturing through root cause analysis and process improvements.
    • Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Perform department and plant-level quality gap assessments and implement corrective actions.
    • Coordinate customer return investigations and ensure timely customer responses.
    • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Supply Chain to establish quality requirements for new components.
    • Lead PFMEA and risk assessment activities for new and existing products.
    • Support New Product Development (NPD) and launch readiness initiatives.
    • Execute APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, and other quality documentation.
    • Analyze scrap, warranty claims, internal defects, and customer complaints to drive continuous improvement.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Quality Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Quality Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
    • Minimum 2 years of Quality Engineering or Manufacturing experience.
    • Experience maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
    • Experience performing quality audits and documentation.
    • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA/FMEA methodologies.
    • Experience with electrical testing procedures and protocols.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
    • Must reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI (no relocation assistance).
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 3 5 years of Quality or Manufacturing experience.
    • Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
    • Project Management experience.
    • Experience supporting Engineered-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing.
    • Strong understanding of:
      • Root Cause Analysis
      • 8D Problem Solving
      • Pareto Charts
      • A3 Problem Solving
      • Control Charts
    • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Knowledge of electrical equipment, control systems, wiring diagrams, and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
