    Senior Quality Engineer - Middletown, CT

     

    Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer

     

    Venteon is currently seeking a SeniorQuality Engineer to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Middletown, CT

     

    The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring aerospace components meet all customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations, supplier quality, and engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant products used in aerospace and highperformance applications.

     

    Requirements of the SeniorQuality Engineer

    • Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related).

    • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.

    • Aerospace inspection and testing methods

    • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

    • Proficiency with electronic QMS and ERP systems.

    Responsibilities of the SeniorQuality Engineer

    • Ensure compliance with ISO and applicable customer and regulatory requirements.

    • Support internal, customer, and thirdparty audits; lead corrective action responses.

    • Maintain and improve quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection records.

    • Ensure proper control of documents, records, and configuration changes.

    • Support supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action followup.

    • Review supplier documentation including material certifications.

    • Assist with supplier audits and risk assessments.

    • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve process capability.

    • Interface with customers on quality issues, investigations, and compliance documentation.

    • Support customer inspections, source inspections, and product acceptance activities.
