Salary Range: $106,000 - $116,000 annually

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation to help ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of our software solutions. In this role, you will lead test automation initiatives, develop automated testing frameworks, and champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys building automation strategies, collaborating across teams, and improving software quality through innovative testing practices.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
  • Lead automation strategy and help prioritize testing efforts based on risk, business impact, and product goals.
  • Establish and promote automation standards and best practices across development teams.
  • Convert manual test cases into scalable automated test solutions.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • Execute, monitor, and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites.
  • Investigate test failures and software defects through root cause analysis.
  • Track, measure, and communicate quality metrics and testing outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other cross-functional partners to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and met.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts, coding, and debugging techniques.
  • Experience testing APIs and microservices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following tools and technologies:
  • Playwright
  • Postman
  • Thunder Client
Additional experience with cloud-based environments, such as Azure, is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience supporting testing in cloud-hosted applications and services.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will also be considered.
