Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Quincy, MA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

MassHealth is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support the MA21 Eligibility Team and the One Health Initiative.

The role will focus on testing the existing MA21 eligibility mainframe system and supporting the rehosting of the Natural/Adabas MA21 system to AWS.

The Sr. QA Analyst will work closely with the Test Manager, developers, business/functional teams, and other QA resources to design and execute testing, analyze requirements, identify defects, and support release validation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and functional requirements for Mainframe and Web enterprise systems.

  • Design and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases.

  • Perform manual and automated testing as required.

  • Test and validate IBM Mainframe applications.

  • Support testing of Natural/Adabas applications.

  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects.

  • Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis.

  • Perform GAP analysis between requirements and existing functionality.

  • Participate in JAD sessions and technical walkthroughs.

  • Prepare test plans, test cases, test results, and test summaries.

  • Develop daily test metrics and status reporting.

  • Participate in daily stand-ups and project/status meetings.

  • Support testing associated with the MA21 AWS cloud rehosting project.

  • Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and results to project stakeholders.
Required / Strongly Preferred Experience

  • Senior-level QA / Software Testing experience.

  • Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe application testing.

  • Strong experience with:

    • Functional Testing

    • Regression Testing

    • Smoke Testing

    • Integration Testing

    • Test Case Development

    • Defect Management / Triage

    • Root-Cause Analysis

  • Experience testing Natural/Adabas applications is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with requirements analysis and business-rule validation.

  • Experience with manual and/or automated testing.

  • AWS or cloud migration/rehosting testing experience is preferred.

  • Healthcare, Medicaid, government, eligibility, or enrollment system experience is preferred.
Location Requirement
This is a hybrid position in Quincy, Massachusetts. Candidates must be available to work onsite when requested and attend the final interview onsite.
