    Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

    Duration: Contract through 06/30/2027
    Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

    Position Overview
    The State of Arizona is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst IV with strong expertise in functional testing for a web-based judicial case management system. The role focuses on reviewing requirements, designing comprehensive test cases, executing test cycles, reporting defects, and ensuring overall application quality.

    Experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#/Java-based automation is highly valuable. The selected candidate will also contribute to expanding an existing automation regression suite.

    Required Skills
    • 7–10 years of Functional Testing experience
    • 3+ years of Test Automation experience
    • Advanced Functional & Black Box Testing
    • Integration, System, UI, ADA/WCAG, and UAT Testing
    • Web Services Testing: SOAP, REST, JSON
    • Advanced Test Case Design and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
    • Translating complex business requirements into structured test scenarios
    • Selenium WebDriver and POM-based automation
    • C# or Java automation experience
    • SQL Queries for data verification and backend testing
    • Azure DevOps and GitHub
    • Visual Studio 2022+
    • Smoke and regression testing
    • Defect tracking and technical defect documentation
    • Automated test report analysis
    • Comprehensive test planning and quality metrics
    • Strong verbal and written communication
    Preferred Skills
    • Agile/Scrum development environment
    • Experience with AI-driven testing tools, including:
       
      • GitHub Copilot
    •  
      • Modern Requirements
    •  
      • Copilot for DevOps
    •  
    • Experience maintaining and expanding automated regression suites
    • Cross-browser testing and complex integration testing
    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
    • Design and execute functional, integration, system, UI, ADA/WCAG, and UAT testing.
    • Develop and maintain Selenium WebDriver/POM-based automation scripts.
    • Execute smoke and regression testing and maintain regression suites.
    • Perform SQL-based backend/data validation.
    • Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and RTMs in Azure DevOps.
    • Document defects with clear, reproducible technical steps.
    • Analyze automated test reports and distinguish application defects from automation/script issues.
    • Collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • Support positive/negative, cross-browser, and integration testing within Agile sprint timelines.
    • Leverage AI testing utilities to improve test scenario creation, documentation, and automation.
    Education / Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, OR
    • 5 years of combined experience in software functional analysis/testing and test automation engineering.
