Quality Engineer

Job Description

Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement proactive quality processes across the enterprise
Own corrective and preventive action efforts, driving root-cause analysis and long-term solutions
Develop, document, and maintain quality system procedures, work instructions, and forms
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and cost
Define, analyze, and report quality metrics to guide decision-making and capital investment
Serve as Lead Auditor and conduct internal and external audits to ISO 9001 standards
Support new product development through design reviews, FMEAs, control plans, and measurement system planning
Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are met

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance
Experience working in an ISO 9001 (or equivalent) manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, or PDCA
Working knowledge of statistical and quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, Cpk)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; mechanical design experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
