Title: Senior QA/Test Engineer
Locations: Addieville, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $30 - $35/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA/Test Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in manual testing, with some automation experience being an asset.
- Experience in process planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.
- Knowledge in the development of test plans, test data, and test cases, and executing these against various components.
- Extensive experience in system analysis, assessment, programming, and troubleshooting of software applications.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end test planning and execution.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
- Experience using Client ALM and JIRA.
- Hands-on experience in Agile software development.
- Firm understanding of testing concepts and quality assurance.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Experience with Automated QA using TestComplete.
- Experience with Test Data Management (TDM).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and implement testing efforts for software applications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test data, and test cases.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality standards are met.
