    About the Role

    We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer who not only brings strong technical expertise in test automation and quality assurance but also excels in communication, collaboration, and balancing priorities. This is a fast-paced team, and success in this role requires the ability to quickly understand complex technical systems, communicate effectively, and partner closely with senior and principal engineers.

    The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with API testing, UI testing, and automation frameworks (Playwright preferred). Just as importantly, they can adapt under pressure, prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, and contribute to a culture of quality, ownership, and teamwork.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Quality Ownership

    • Drive testing efforts across web applications, APIs, and integrations to ensure high-quality releases.

    • Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

    1. Test Automation
    • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (and other automation tools where appropriate).

    • Improve automation reliability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.

    • API Testing

    • Develop and execute automated and manual tests for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

    • Validate data integrity, business logic, error handling, and service reliability.

    • UI Testing

    • Validate front-end workflows, user journeys, and overall user experience.

    • Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and accessibility expectations.

    • Communication & Collaboration

    • Clearly document test cases, test results, and defects in a concise and understandable manner.

    • Partner closely with senior and principal engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities.

    • Present testing findings, quality risks, and recommendations confidently, adapting communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Prioritization

    • Balance competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Focus testing efforts on critical business paths while maintaining long-term quality objectives.

    • Mentorship & Process Improvement

    • Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices.

    • Contribute to process improvements and help foster a collaborative, quality-focused engineering culture.

    Your Profile

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

    • 2+ years of hands-on automation experience.

    • Strong experience with Playwright (or Selenium/Cypress with a willingness to transition).

    • Proven experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

    • Solid understanding of:

    • Test planning

    • Test execution

    • Defect lifecycle management

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Ability to quickly understand complex technical systems and contribute to technical discussions.

    • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

    • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with distributed teams.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
