Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Work Location: Torrance, CA 90501 - Onsite

Contract duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $55/hr W2

Required Experience

• 10+ years in enterprise QA, automation, or test leadership within Agile or hybrid delivery.
• Strong .NET web, C# automation, API, SQL, and system-integration testing experience.
• Experience with Mainframe-connected applications, DB2/SQL Server, ETL/data validation, stakeholder reporting, and release support.
• Prior work with automotive or auto-sales domain is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Core: ASP.NET/.NET Framework, C#, Visual Studio, WCF, Mainframe, DB2, SQL Server, REST/SOAP APIs, Selenium, NUnit, SpecFlow, Playwright, Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI
• Delivery & Management: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, TFS, TeamCity, Harness, Git, Jira, Client ALM/Quality Center, qTest, Zephyr, TestRail, Confluence, Splunk

Job Details:

Seeking a senior QA professional with strong .NET, automation, API, database, integration, and end-to-end testing experience; prior automotive-client experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead test planning and execution across functional, integration, regression, UAT, API, backend, database, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate ASP.NET/.NET applications across UI, REST/SOAP services, middleware, SQL Server, Mainframe/DB2, and downstream systems.
• Create scenarios, test data, traceability, quality updates, and release-readiness reporting; manage defects through triage, root-cause analysis, retesting, and closure.
• Develop UI/API automation, integrate suites with CI/CD pipelines, collaborate across Agile teams, and mentor QA members.
