We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support the quality and reliability of complex software applications. This hands-on role focuses on software testing, database validation, test automation, and data management throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring extensive technical QA experience and work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute testing strategies covering functional, integration, system, regression, acceptance, and non-functional testing.
- Analyze business requirements, application architecture, and data flows to design comprehensive test cases, including boundary conditions and error scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing of complex applications, identifying defects and verifying functionality against established requirements.
- Validate Oracle database functionality, including views, stored procedures, functions, and data migration processes, while maintaining consistency across testing environments.
- Develop and manage test data sets, including extracting and modifying production data to support realistic testing scenarios.
- Create and maintain scripts for database setup, test data preparation, file generation, and environment cleanup.
- Write SQL queries and develop methods to compare expected and actual results across databases, application interfaces, and external data sources.
- Monitor testing progress, evaluate completion criteria, adjust testing activities, and provide status updates to project teams and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business users to support acceptance testing and ensure compliance with established testing standards.
Qualifications- 7+ years of professional QA or software testing experience, including hands-on testing of complex technical applications.
- Professional experience working with Salesforce.
- Proficiency with Oracle databases and SQL, including database queries, data validation, and testing stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Extensive experience with test planning, test case development, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience using automated testing tools such as SOAPUI, Tricentis Tosca, or scriptless automation platforms.
- Scripting experience and hands-on involvement in test data preparation, management, and database cleanup.
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Confluence.
- Experience applying user-centered design principles and conducting usability testing.
- Experience supporting large development teams and projects involving multiple business owners, including communicating testing results to business leadership and stakeholders.
