How You Will Make an Impact

• Design and build Python-based backend applications and services from the ground up
• Develop and optimize SQL-driven data integrations supporting business and technical workflows
• Translate requirements into scalable system designs and clearly articulate architectural decisions
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented Python code following engineering best practices
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and infrastructure partners

Do you bring proven success in building Python applications from the ground up?

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with strong recent hands-on coding
• Advanced proficiency in Python for backend and application development
• Strong SQL expertise with experience designing and optimizing complex queries
• Demonstrated experience building applications end-to-end, not just maintaining existing frameworks
• Solid understanding of system design, application architecture, and data modeling
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
• Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and architectural tradeoffs
• Experience working in agile or fast-paced delivery environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps tooling, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
