Senior Proposal Engineer

Pay: $100K - $130K

Summary

The Senior Proposal Engineer will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop distributed control systems solutions for customers across North America. You will also assist with leading & mentoring our proposals process & application team by providing solutions in control modernization, control subsystem replacements, and ancillary systems integration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop clear, accurate technical proposals based on customer needs, requirements, and specifications.
• Have extensive knowledge of various plant applications within the power and/or water industries.
• Provide leadership support to the proposal team, including coaching, knowledge sharing, and process guidance.
• Continually expand knowledge of Ovation products, services, and support offerings.
• Expand your knowledge of company products, services, and support offerings to deliver high value, customer centric proposals.
• Work effectively with the Regional/Project Engineering teams to develop complete solutions utilizing company products and services
• Coordinate and participate in customer meetings to clarify scope, share expertise, and present solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive solutions and provide support.
• Review customer orders to ensure alignment with proposed scope and prepare documentation for order entry.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Seven (7) years of related experience.
• Familiarity or experience with process automation systems or industrial control systems.
• Experience applying technical knowledge within complex industrial or automation environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and adapt in a fast moving environment.
• Experience with Ovation Distributed Control Systems is preferred.
