In this role you will: - Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring efficient and effective management.
- Maintain property occupancy and leasing goals.
- Supervise and lead property management staff, including leasing agents, and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to maximize operational efficiency.
- Oversee resident relations, including lease negotiations, renewals, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of senior property management experience is required.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise a team.
- Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Knowledge of Chicago local real estate laws, regulations, and market trends is highly desirable.
