Senior Property Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Review lease agreements and ensure rent payments are made accurately and on time for multiple locations.
• Perform tenant and landlord account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Analyze and approve common area maintenance bills for payment processing.
• Communicate proactively with landlords to resolve discrepancies or issues related to rent payments.
• Maintain records of security deposits and ensure proper tracking and compliance.

• A strong understanding of lease terms and rent payment processes.
• Prior experience with account reconciliations and vendor correspondence.
• Ability to manage multiple property accounts with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with reviewing and processing CAM charges.
• Excellent communication skills for resolving payment-related issues.

• 3-5+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location environment.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Experience with property management systems and intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with real estate and finance teams.
