Senior Property Accountant
Boston, MA (Hybrid - 2 Days In Office)Salary: $90,000 - $105,000
CFS is partnering with a leading commercial real estate organization seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support a portfolio of commercial properties in the Greater Boston area.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who has a strong foundation in commercial real estate accounting and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements for commercial property portfolios
- Perform account reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and general ledger activity
- Assist with annual budgets and reforecasts
- Support CAM reconciliations and tenant-related accounting
- Coordinate with property managers regarding financial performance
- Assist with audit requests and year-end reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience
- Experience with MRI or Yardi required
- Strong understanding of property accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000 - $105,000
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office
