Description

Job Summary: Looking for a Senior Project Manager (PM) or a candidate open to a Vice President (VP) level position to run the division. If coming in at the VP level, there will be additional business development responsibilities and a larger bonus. The bonus will be discussed directly with candidates and will be based on specific benchmarks that will be defined and agreed upon.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Civil Engineers, EITs, designers, and CAD draftsmen, providing technical guidance, QA/QC oversight, and design feedback.
  • Oversee daily operations, deliverables, and project schedules for various land development projects (residential, industrial, commercial, etc.).
  • Utilize advanced engineering principles and practices to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct large and complex engineering projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Oversee industrial development projects (primarily 5 to 50 acres, with occasional projects exceeding 100 acres).
  • Define project scope, including budget, design criteria, and schedule.
  • Contribute to proposal development and client management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in land/site development engineering (public and private).
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong understanding of land development processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with projects ranging from 5 to 100+ acres.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial project development.
